Established fine artist, Zynada, is a southern California based sculptor and painter. She wanted to strengthen her online presence through branding and website design that authentically reflects her work. After chatting together, learning about her goals as an artist, looking through her paintings, sketches, sculptures, and poetry we were able to begin formulating the look and feel of her brand. As a result, Zynada’s logo and website balanced both functionality and her own individual creative process. Her logo was designed to be bold and and memorable. The iconic letter ‘Z’ would be used within her website, social media, and any traditional marketing materials in the future. I designed a website that uniquely reflects her passion while also catering to prospective clients seeking large scale art. Features include custom portfolio gallery, custom sliders, contact form, and SEO.
Our process began with understanding Zynada’s portfolio of work, identifying her ideal customer and industries, and establishing the purpose behind strengthening her online presence. I designed a logo and created a brand style guide that supported her current and future brand goals.
The next step on our journey was to design and develop a website to capture project leads and provide prospective customers a window into Zynada’s creative process. I created an innovative paint textured header/navigation menu that helped draw the eye of user, integrated a custom slider featuring her latest pieces, and designed a portfolio page that presented her artwork in a user-friendly and non-distracted way.
The final step on my journey with Zynada was to create a social media calendar for her Instagram account and develop content to promote her evolving work leading up to an event. Our goals included reconnecting with her current follower base and generating exposure to attract new followers, drive traffic to her website, and encourage commission requests. We did this through the use of still images of her paintings, supportive typography, researched hashtags, and video animations.
