How much does a typical web design or branding project cost?

Every project is different depending on the scope of work and the goals behind it. Branding, website design, or combined brand and website projects vary in complexity, so the investment reflects the strategy, design, and development involved. That said, most branding and website projects fall somewhere between $4,000-$12,000. For more complex or legacy projects please inquire via the form. Complex projects often involve a combination of the following: advanced cart, over 100 products, over 300 pages & posts, advanced sales funnels, etc. During the discovery call we’ll discuss what you’re hoping to achieve, and afterward you’ll receive a proposal outlining the recommended scope, timeline, and investment for your project.

How long does a typical website or branding project take?

Timelines vary depending on the scope and complexity of the project. Most website projects take between four weeks and three months from start to launch. Factors that influence the timeline include the number of pages, whether new branding is being developed, the inclusion of custom video or ecommerce functionality, and how quickly feedback and materials are provided. After our discovery call, you’ll receive a clear timeline outlining each phase of the project.

Do I need both branding and a website?

Not necessarily! Some clients already have a strong brand identity and only need a website designed around it. Others are starting from scratch and benefit from developing both their brand and website together. During the discovery call we’ll talk through where your business is today and determine what type of project will support your goals best.

Do you only design WordPress websites?

Most websites are developed in WordPress because it offers strong flexibility, performance, and long-term scalability. However, I also work with Wix and Squarespace depending on the needs of the project. For example, sometimes, the team member that the project will be handed off to might work strictly within Wix or Squarespace, so I adapt to that. During the discovery call we’ll determine which platform makes the most sense for your goals, functionality requirements, and long-term plans.

What if I’m not sure exactly what I need yet?

No worries! That’s completely normal. Many clients begin the process with a general idea of what they want to accomplish but aren’t quite sure how to structure the project yet. The discovery call is designed to clarify your goals, explore potential solutions, and determine the best direction for your brand or website.

Will I be able to update my website myself?

Yes! Websites are built so that you can update content such as text, images, or blog posts when needed. If you ever need help with more advanced changes, additional support can always be arranged depending on your needs.
